Our restaurant, which is situated on the A494 between Mold and Ruthin, has undergone an extensive makeover bringing in a modern contemporary feel but still retaining a traditional pub atmosphere should you wish to join us for a drink or a snack. We have a variety of dining areas, some of which can be used for private dining, and a superb function space which will be perfect for weddings, family celebrations and community events.

Outside, our 120ft terrace seats 100 people comfortably and has panoramic views across the Vale of Clwyd and as far as the mountains of Snowdonia. Most of our dining area looks over this vista and so no matter what time of year or weather conditions, the views here are simply breathtaking.

We ensure all our dishes are freshly prepared on the premises and use the finest locally sourced ingredients – lamb, beef and pork from The Vale of Clwyd, Menai mussels from Anglesey, fruit and vegetables from local farms and bread from artisan bakers in Ruthin. Our enthusiastic and talented chefs all share a passion for traditional and modern British cuisine and the “specials” menu is constantly changing and reflects the best seasonal produce available.
